Hi JimBo!

My condolences on your gold experience. If you just entered the market in the last year, you really did miss the best part of the show. Though I have no reason other than faith, I expect my gold stocks to recover a bit by the fall. Do you have any forecasts?

When I was learning to invest --- Yeah like I'm not still learning expensive lessons --- I benefitted from two great sources of information. The first was a book called "Rampaging Bulls" by Alexander Tadich. Not a technical tome, this book tells a story about one person's investing experience. It also provides a good look at the agenda's and motives at play in the junior markets.

The second was a terrific source for Mining investment advice and tips called "The Kaiser Bottom Fishing Report". This news letter comes out once every two months and has a section of market commentary, a section that provides some instruction on mining valuation, a few profiles, and concludes with a review of his recommendations over the past year. I am sure that if I would have started investing four years ago, and had the benefit of this news letter, I would be writing you from somewhere....... better. You can test drive several of his back issues at:
