Since Enron did not produce any power in California, What's that matter, the important thing is that Gray Davis got guarenteed supplies. No longer did it matter if Enron was raising the price for moving power north when the electricty was going south or shutting key plants for maintenance. California no longer bought from the Enron network. The whole extortion scheme petered out since there wasn't a victim to fleece anymore. TP
