I want to stress that AMD declares the timeframes for Barton’s launch as the first quarter 2003 I have no inside knowledge, but my guess is that Barton is ready for production at Fab 30 and AMD is deciding right now how many to make there. I suspect they will make some, but not many and the 2800+ and 3000+ products will be released before the end of the year. Mass production is supposed to be at UMC and I suppose AMD will continue making the 256K TBreds and some 512K Bartons at Fab 30 until UMC output is ready. Petz
