Zigler, think again about which stock would you wish to
own. Basically you are giving the answer yourself - if Microsoft
goes down, so does Corel - and if Microsoft goes up, Corel still
goes down. The question then is: is there any scenario under which
Corel would actually, finally go UP? I guess there is one: Corel
stock should start doing well if it would just finally, finally
start to report "solid growth and earnings", just like MSFT
always does and has done, but - heart of the problem - it simply
never does.

Instead, it is now gambling on tricky new technology like NC's and
Java. It could fly. Or it could burn badly. No such chance for
MSFT.

Still have any doubt about which share you would want to own?
