Right now, I feel relatively safe. I know for a fact that attacking Iraq will lead to counterattacks here and worse.

You believe in the reverse corollary: That by not attacking Iraq, we'll be safer? That Saddam will not provide the terrorists with WMDs to be used against us? That terrorist attacks are going to stop if we don't attack Iraq?
