Usually, when people think that they can do a better job than the CEO of a highly profitable business (and Intel is *still* making hundreds of millions in profits), it means they haven't the faintest clue what it really takes to get the job done. I'm pretty sure Barrett doesn't need your "recommendation". Give the guy a break. The market is out of his hands. Long term, the stock price will reflect the performance of the company relative to the market, no matter what Barrett says. Would you rather have a politician for CEO, who can kiss babies, and make nice short term stock bubbles on an otherwise flat stock for the long term, or someone who knows how to run a multi-billion semiconductor business, and keep their operations running efficiently enough so that any eventual market recovery will make long term prospects have far better returns?
