They're obviously already changing it. No choice if that's what the reality tells them. Lying about it or hiding the truth isn't a viable option.

This would get him laughed at. Nobody's even thinking about the possibility that there might be a shortage. A more realistic thing to address might be the perception that there is too much capacity.

I agree. Nobody has much insight into the holiday season right now, and claiming otherwise would not be wise.
