We've all been up one side and down the other on these issues. My guess is that we are all tired of saying the same things to one another. I know I am.

As I recall, my post was simply to restate my historical sense given some sort of debate about the present. I don't now recall exactly what that was. No doubt, yet another assertion that the Palestinians only wanted to drive the Israelis into the sea or that ending the occupation would only have given Arafat ammunition with which to do so.

But I vote to stop those conversations for a while, at least. No doubt something will come up that will make them relevant again.
