Yeah, and Seals Stadium, too. My Dad's aunt and uncle lived a few blocks from Kezar; we would park there and walk to the game. I probably saw 5 or 6 there. My first was against the Lions in '57. First real Alley Oop,Tittle to Owens in the opposite end-zone just B4 the gun to win the game. Later that year, I had to listen to Fouts and Simmons broadcast this absolutely total collapse against the Lions the playoffs; ahead 28-7 at the half, McElhenny runs the 2nd half kick-off back to about the 10. All they could get was 3 points, and lost, something like 35-31. When that happens, and you are 13, it hurts sooooooooooooo bad. In those daze, they practiced in Redwood City; the GM's kid went to my grammer school. Some of the guys would go to practice and get autographs and pass them out. I think we still have them at Mom's. I think the last time I saw them there was the blown playoff game against the Cowboys. Doesn't hurt quite as bad when you are in your 20's and expect it to happen. I didn't cry that time. '81 came as a shock to me, 'cuz I expected them to return to form and break my heart again.
BTW, about the time of my first "in attendance" Big Game (Joe Kapp vs John Brodie), Stanferd's coach was Cactus Jack Curtis.
