wanna_bmw, see the sharp decline on the stock? That was when Barrett spoke, see the bounce today, that is the money that should have never come out of the stock.
We disagree, I have told you my view, and why, and I think laid it out well enough. This forum seems to have no real purpose, people don't care about the trading, the CEO, or the stock in general. Seems like an inbreed click of people chatting with who they know only wanting to talk tech stuff. I find much better information for those purposes on Tom's hardware, or theRegister, or Anandtech. I was thinking SI was for stock talk.
Barrett is doing a terrible job, and his comments have hurt investors. Today is better because of the bounce, but I still don't excuse his ineptness in doing his job right. Barrett needs to be the public face of Intel, and he needs to not screw up over and over.
My view is simply enough is enough, get a new CEO. One that will not tank the stock NEEDLESSLY THREE TIMES. I suggest that he do nothing other than be professional and look after the interests of the company. He has not served the interests of the company by putting out his speculations.
We do agree here though unless you have something to say where you think Barrett is doing a good job, we have nothing much to discuss.
What has Barrett done in his years since he became CEO, what new markets, what about competition?
