Didn't see this posted yet, and search function doesn't work. Does George Schultz count as a Republican elder

It's the first posting. I left it alone because I no longer post columns on this subject. Shultz is highly respected at the "Hoover" Institute. I would respect him more if he hadn't been in such a hurry to run to the Media on Iran/Contra, when he was Sec of State.

The problem with these columns is that we are at the point where there is nothing new to say.
