>>What have you been up to? << No good, as usual.
Although I still have lots of shares at a huge loss (wonder if I should average down), I am much more interested in precious metals (remember retired?) and oil & gas explorers. Right now am at about 50% cash and would be more cash, but SUNW is hardly worth selling these days.
BLI which I bought last November/December gave me a nice double when I sold it in July. Now if it would only dip to $10, I might buy it again. LOL
These days I mostly lurk on the Precious Metals, Mining and Drilling boards, since I own some stocks in those categories, but have zero geology or T/A knowledge. Most of those stocks are doing well, since I got in early - probably should have sold them when they were a double. If I had some understanding of T/A, I am sure I would have sold them a few months ago - BWDIK
Here are a few links I can be found out from time to time. I created them and use them to file stuff of interest to me. There is no real rhyme or reason for what gets put where. Probably the LightHouse is where I post most of the Natural Resource info or investment ideas of what might be in the near future. Not a lot of hot ideas out there or "in my head".

So now I've told you my story, what's yours?

P.S. I wonder what the 'SI maintenance' is going take away. I took out an I-Hub lifetime membership, just in case SI takes away even more (RT Quotes, Company Profiles gone, Search Engine sucks, Other options that used to be in the Quotes or Charts All Gone). They have tried to duplicate the better board features from SI, but I have not spent enough time there to compare the differences.
IMO SI is a prime example of what happens to a relatively good company, Go2Net, bought out during the bubble. Go2Net was profitable in their last quarter, before being acquired by INSP - or was it just fuzzy math? |
