"Like your lions in print. How scary is this "GROWL"? how scary is the word "LION"- if there is no real lion next to you?"

Again the question is not rather the lion is next to you--LOL! The question is whether or not the lion is real and not merely a conceptual construct. A real lion may be next to you some day. The "word" LION has no biological life and will NEVER GROWL.

You ust know that a lion is a lion regardless of what name you call it by, and regardless of whether or not it is NEXT to you. The proximity of the lion to you (or the millions of names by which it may be called) are irrelevant to the truth of its biological existence.

For you to claim that the lion is not "real" ecause it is beyond your sight (or perhaps because you are blind) is ridiculuous. The existence of the lion does not depend on the intimacy of your relationship. The fact that you have not touched the skin of Christopher Hodgkins is a poor argument that he does not exist. A blind person can NEVER verify reality face-to-face, by sight. But would they put their fingers in the lion's cage?
