It was always logical to give Las Cristinas to KRY if Venezuela want a mine ASAP. Legally, there are now no challengers left with any status. I just can't see how they got the nod with their financial state. There has got to be a big money player behind it. The CVG made such a display of wanting a big money major for Cristinas and they settled for KRY. I know KRY have done a lot of political work, getting the right people on side and carefully spending their money in the right places, so it seems to have paid off. Placer and Vannessa can go whistle in the wind.. they don't have a chance down there with their roughshod tactics.

At least KRY might finally be able to scratch up some gold to cover their toxic hedges. I think they were the only mining company in the past 6 months to actually go backwards financially with the POG up...
