To All, Don't ask me what is going on with Anchor Gaming (Slot) because I just talked to mgt. and didn't get any info at all. My guess is that there is either takeover talk or takeover rumors for this kind of pop. Great co., but probably overpriced now if there is no takeover or major sale. G-Tech and International Game getting married looks interesting. The big problem GTK has had is, well, let's just say, questionable ethics. IGT is well known as a straight shooter and they would definitely be the surviving mgt. Top dogs with a good rep would help them in places where GTK has muddied the waters, including my state of Texas. Also, I could see GTK as a foot in the door for the Megasports horse and sports betting parlors IGT is developing with American Wagering (BETM). As long as the GTK folks are in the door of the statehouse talking about the lottery, they might mention how much money Megasports could bring into a state. MB
