You are as wrong as wrong can be.
Your view of the populace of Iraq as "attempt to live in "
is like saying that the United States in World War II
should not have engaged in military strikes inside
the boundaries of Germany and Japan since there resided
a populace of an "attempt to live in " and are innocent from
a fact of being born in that nation rather than entered and joined
a fight against the United States.

Guess you might read history from another postion rather
than every life is protected from harm as a right of birth.

Better yet, understand that anyone as a single person,
or a collection of people up to a nation, has the right
that you seem to extend to those in Iraq, but seem not
to extend to those threatened by Iraq.

Now you say "prove this and that" or "show the threat"
and i will entend my sense of self-protection to include
a simple view that any leader of a nation that demonstrates
a quest to do that activity that has been very active from the
start of human existance thousands of years ago, that once
this is knowned, any nation having a superior military force
has a duty to its citizens to eliminate that leader(aka assassination)
him or her and those connected to that government or movement,
and from this hope the citizens of that nation gain control without
a repeat of that trend, and if not, elininate that nation using a
first strike using the most destructive weapon possible.

Note i have not mentioned good v evil, and need not since
this activity i have described is "what works" for a person
or a nation to survive. It is a bad event or situation or simply
a Hell on Earth type existance for all that this is "the way"
to success for a continuation, sure i reply as its a sickness
that has been with the human race for thousands of years,
and sorry human race, you "all" thousands of years ago
and including the present, has the ability to cure self and
get rid of the germs, but did not and actually helped it to
do what is described as a cancer, being it grew and got
larger and stronger, feed & helped by the human race
using that ability to let others makes decision you should make.

Hell on Earth was one of many options available for mankind,

of the only super power on Earth, and placed in front of him
