Using alternate names does not change the substantiality of the person. Your continued inability to grasp this simple idea is perplexing to me.

You are overlooking the possibility that an alias may be used for posting by persons other than the registered real person. A poster here recently mentioned that she thought (incorrectly) that I had been sharing my account. I don't even know whether this is prohibited in TOU. I could easily see this happening with other household members, or anyone for that matter who might have access to your computer. Also, cases of one real person having multiple aliases are hardly unknown on SI, notwithstanding that that does violate TOU. Finally, at least one case of an impersonation by an alias of a fictitious or phony "real person" has been exposed on SI.

All such instances give added credibility to the point that an alias and the associated registered user are not necessarily one in the same person.
