To: John W. and David S.:
I guess I'd be considered a small investor. I follow this and some other threads in an effort to educate myself, and in order to try to keep up with relevant info on some stocks that I care about. That can be time-consuming, and since I do not have any formal background either in the stock market or in biotechnology I really have to pay attention. But I think it is important to my investing, and my investing is important to my retirement, and to the futures of some kids and grandkids.
Sometimes on this thread I find myself having to wade through a lot of material that is irrelevant to my interest in the work and the fortunes of AGPH: for example, an ongoing series of postings that are really personal rather than informational. That can be somewhat burdensome.
Probably there are many others who use SI in a similar way. That is, lurkers. We don't usually post because we have no special technical expertise to offer ... and because we don't need to write just to make conversation. I've got a life already. Frankly, I'm really just looking for information, not identity, validation, or companionship.
So my suggestion is this: would you two guys consider moving your ongoing personal disagreements to a private email dialogue, or exchange phone numbers or something? It's becoming a lot like being forced to overhear somebody else's quarrel, and it would be considerate of you both not to hold others hostage in that way.
Thanks for listening, anyway. Smiles. |
