Thanks for the response, sr. I suppose the Carter had some good days but this account seems tilted in his favor. I have never heard his detente policy with the Soviets described as a success, and the Camp David Accords more or less fell into his lap. Sadat and Begin negotiated that peace; the US President just had to apply suitable sweetners, and would have had to f--k up royally to put the kibosh on the deal.
