You have mentioned many problems with these entities << they are THE problem. corporate transnationals and multinationals control global capitalism, and therefore international policy. when governments and citizens lose control over their own destiny to a bunch of unelected plutocrats it fuels a rise in protectionist & nativist sentiment. you find recent examples of this in the rising popularity of people like jean-marie le pen. now for an example of the power the globalist transnationals wield? the vast majority of americans want illegal immigration stopped cold and legal immigration severely rolled back. the politicians here in america do absolutely nothing to enact the will of the people. they are too beholden to the global mandarins who use the power of the purse to get them elected every cycle. in fact, not only has mr bush and some of his cronies in congress not curtailed immigration in a time of war, they encourage more illegal immigration with calls for amnesty! what a joke. what a virtual democracy in america.
