<<BTW, Miami suks and you know it>>

Yea, but I actually found myself rooting AGAINST Rexx Grossman. After watching that game, I dont
think we need to worry about the teams ahead of us.
7-5 with an outside shot at 6-6 is still my prediction.
Not only dont we have the coaching, but we legitimately do not have the best talent in the nation. Not 1 player
can be considered the best at his position (sorry, Myth, that includes Mills).
And Miami is playing with a bunch of freshmen and sophs at some of the positions.
And the graduation rate debate......overrated.....there are no jobs out there for seasoned workers let alone college grads!!!!
We are significantly losing the recruiting battle of 'our school produces NFL quality football players'. We get the
good second tier players and many 3rd tier(1-aa quality). ANd the battle is easily won by other schools because
1) we dont perform well against lesser quality teams
2) we get killed in the Big Ten
3) the coaching (style, age and modernization)
4) the whole problem of minority recruitment(specifically in the general student population). For football, it is becoming almost as bad as it has been forever with Basketball. The oncampus events of the last two years have
placed the Admission Office in a panic. So much so that they are making offers well under the criteria, causing
further problems when these students(who come from poorly taught inner city schools) fail, become disgruntled, spread the bad word, and ultimately leave campus. The general minority population does affect the recruit's impressions of PSU.
But I digress....we're wasting a lot of money on this very very bad product.
Later,
Jim
