Hi folks,

Well thanx to the information provided on the day there are several question
asked that have been clearly answered.

The first is "why didn't they do more than a 200 mile run ?

The answer is simply that the charger doesn't keep up as they have claimed
and is clearly shown by the voltage reading at start and the voltage reading
at finish, there is a lot of amperage missing from those batteries to drop
30 volts.

Ya got to laugh at the ignorance of people watching the voltage rise though
.. the load voltage (6 volts according to Tilley) has gone before they even
get the meters on it and they are still short of 30 volts, before the
batteries should have stopped running the car without recharge.

These guys have proved that they aren't stupid and it is clear to the
reporter that they are noticing problems early on with the bearing or
something, surely if its bearing and related to load induced by track
banking you run the car the other way at each driver change ...its not
shorter round the track one way than the other.

A wheel bearing takes a mere hour or so to replace at the local garage and
when you have people coming for miles to a well publicized event like this
you don't just pack up and stop it for something as pitiful as this ...you
fix it and get on with it.

Tilley says "the voltages even out on the open stretches" hmmm translated
that says "as long as we don't have the load of accelerating the car which
has also been said to take 6 volts, the generator keeps up but on a closed
track where you have to slow a bit for the corner and accelerate out of it
there is just too much demand on the batteries, which means they really do
have some sort of fixed rate charger that is only running the motor for free
when the car is unloaded, but not actually putting out more than the motor
is using.

I note ooutthere says "tire and fan noise being heard", electric motors
don't sound like fans do they ?

Mine don't, what would you use a fan for ? and more importantly when you are
going for distance in an electric vehicle how stupid would it be to run
anything that drew power from the batteries.

Well I wish them luck but this is looking like BS and if these guys have had
a device for a while they will know for sure just how hard it is to convince
the public of the reality and would never blow off a demo like this for such
a pathetic reason.

PS Aren't these guys lucky I live in another country and that no one
(reporting so far) who understands OU actually turned up to check it out.
