Test Results Validate Industry-Best Range and Performance of Leading Dual-Band Chipset
San Jose, CA and Dresden, Germany (August 30, 2002) - Systemonic, a leading developer of complete silicon system solutions for the global wireless communications market, demonstrated their Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) silicon solution on the Agilent 93000 SOC Series at Semicon West 2002 in San Jose, California.
On the event floor, Systemonic's Tondelayo(tm) dual-band, 802.11a+b WLAN silicon solution was tested throughout the three day show at the Agilent Technology booth and recorded superior Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) for 54Mbps, the maximum data rate specified in the 802.11a standard. Agilent recently introduced new enhancements on the 93000 RF Measurement Suite that enable customers to perform complex modulation measurements on radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) for WLAN standards.
