"If I had a point, it was that we KNOW that an alias and the registered user may bear absolutely no characteristics or attributes in common"

LOL! That has absolutely NO logical connection, JC! It is unlikely that ANYONE here has tried to make any logical connection to the registered owner (excepting perhaps SI admin;-). For those people who write under an alternate name, we are intererested in the person, NOT in whether or not the SI Admin file has been updated properly. That is a job for SI Admin or other authorities, and who are riducoulsly naive if you belive it is a job they cannot do should circumstances warrant such an intrusion! ;-)

You still know EVERYTHING about the real person using that alias that may be understood and inferred from the public and private posts he/she has made, the phone calls and letters, and emails you may have traded...and in your case (if your public disclosures may be credited, and they may)--how that poster looks at breakfast!
