I was responding to a post which stated an "Iraqi Businessman" was supporting Scott Ritter. (His quotes, not mine.) My reference was to the excerpt below which I extrapolated to $1.6 million from "Arab Nations". RAND receives most of its funding from the US government. A small portion -- less than one percent of its $160 million in research revenue in the last fiscal year -- came from Arab nations, Egner said jpost.com. I wanted to find the information but was unable to find any financials on the Rand.Org site. but this site: hereinreality.com led me to this site rand.org which reminds me once again of the web of the Carlyle Group. Frank Carlucci of the Carlyle Group is on the Board of Rand. I don't think JPOST.com was referring to the Carlyle Group's dealing with the Bin Laden family as the source for the $1.6 million. But you will have to ask them.
