GZ, it is simply not true that all, or even a majority, of Islam believers or Arabs applaud Sadam or the terrorist attacks. It is a sad and stupid mistake to try and make this into a religous or race war. It is about human rights and freedom to live in a safe world, not religion or war.
If it is made out to be "WASP's" against the world, there are not enough of you to win regardless of the fancy weapon systems. Go after Sadam for the terrorist dictator he is, not because he is Arab or Islam.
I have ancestors of several races and religions, some of whom came to America from Ireland, England, & Scotland for freedom, some who lost their freedom as a result of the trip from Africa, and some who were already here and lost their freedom, life, and land as a result of the European invasion. Today our freedom applies to Arabs and Islam as well as to Irish and Baptist so long as the rights of others are respected. The day that we begin to define America's enemies in terms of race or religion will be the day our decline begins. |
