Thanks for posting, even if SI gets annoyed--there are lot more heinous things on these threads to get annoyed at than the posting of some interesting and informative articles. The ones on deflation were especially of interest to me--I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on how deflation might impact an industry like semiconductors, computers or disk drives, where deflation is essentially already a constant presence rather than something new. Would a more general deflation hurt these business worse or less than others? Obviously, part of it depends on how bad the deflation might get, but let's assume for the sake of discussion that it doesn't get worse than 2 or 3 percent, annually.
