Well clown. You said...." You do realize posting hate filled material is a crime in Canada, Yes?"....

And I asked you if you just made up a new law.

To which your replied....." Firstly : You don't need to use the exact word " hate ".All you need to do to be considered guilty of hate crimes is write or speak in reference to an act of violence or racial bias towards a distinctive group.

Here...read this :

uottawa.ca

OK so I did read there and to say the least it is a confusing place unless of course you are involved in law practice or some such thing.

You said...." You do realize posting hate filled material is a crime in Canada, Yes?"....

According to the site you recommended what you say is not an accurate statement at all. I'm sure just an oversight on your part.....did you bother to read what you posted and if you did perhaps you have a reading comprehension problem. Many many many conditions must be met before a hate crime is committed on the internet. Not cut and dried as you suggest.

There are many areas at that web site that I did not get to but I did come across this....." The Supreme Court of Canada has said that section 13(1) of the Canadian Human Rights Act is not an unreasonable limit on free speech. But it hasn't said whether or not it applies to hateful messages posted on the Internet. ".....

Because of your vast knowledge on this subject maybe you could just show us all exactly where in the criminal code of Canada it says what you have stated. Cuz if it is a fact they may have to shut down the internet.
