Thanks. In this case, I think I want something fairly obscure _ maybe a preferred series stock, albeit illiquid, from a company with a top credit rating. I have almost no experience with these, but I know that higher-yield issues carry redemption risk.
REITs have carried the ball well in this market, I'm just skeptical as to how much longer that will last before the next "thang" comes along.
