Of course, if you believe bear-market guru Bill Gross, the Dow Jones industrial average is going to fall to 5,000. But most observers don't believe him. "Nope. Not unless we get a Japan-style deflation; 5000 Dow just ain't gonna be," said David Kotok, chief investment officer at Cumberland Advisors in Vineland, N.J. Who knows? I doubt AG will let that happen anytime soon. He's still got quite a number of shots left.
