Scott Ritter is a puzzlement.

Personally, I'd hazard a guess that after Biden dressed him down publicly for having opinions "above his pay grade" something in him got a little twisted.

I hate to think that it's just about the money.

Or maybe he's really some kind of double agent, since he's pushing for weapons inspections even as we speak. On the face of it, inspections are preferable to war, if we could have real inspections, i.e., the "coercive inspection" concept.

But if the question is, do I accept him at face value?, the answer is no.
