Any comments: re: Scott Ritter position ??

Lots of comments, search the thread. In a nutshell, three years ago Ritter said Iraq was dangerous and could completely rebuild their programs in six months of no inspections, and he blasted the Clinton administration for undermining UNSCOM.

Now, after Iraq has spent seven years of fighting off inspections (often by force) followed by four years of no inspections at all, Ritter is in Baghdad, on a trip organized and paid for by Saddam Hussein, telling everybody that Iraq is harmless as a lamb, a contention that is vehemently disagreed with by all the other UNSCOM inspectors and every Iraqi defector.

Myself, I conclude that Ritter is on Saddam's payroll. Ritter has even admitted receiving $400,000 from an Iraqi businessman for 'making a documentary.' You can look at the facts and draw your own conclusions.
