This is earliest I have seen a K8/K7 cross-over. AMD's 2001 annual report noted end of 2004 and then a later CC noted end of 2003. Of course, this is from Via which must be wondering about its own chipset cross-over from SiS...

This would be a much more rapid transition than the K7/K6 transition.
