Ok- I'm guessing here, but in person I doubt you go on at great length about things. I bet you parse your comments on interesting topics- to meet the body language interest level of your listener. I suspect you are funnier in person. I think you are probably wittier and warmer. None of these things came across for me in your posts, in the past. I don't know any of this for certain- but based on other people I have met in 3d it is what I suspect, but cannot know.

I think in a way I do not know you "better". You may think I do- but I really don't. I know the highly filtered version of your thoughts you put out here on SI- but if we had lunch together for a few hours, and chatted real time- without the ability to edit our words, and without the ability to think about what we were saying for long periods before we said it, I would know you better than having read you for years on SI. That is simply my opinion.
