just to see how it thinks in b&w compared to you.

I really didn't think much, I just hit the black-and-whiterizer button in Paint Shop. (g).

But that's a good idea, as soon as I can figure out how to get to the right sub-sub-menu, I'll try. But the reviewer at Steve's DigiCams (which is where I learned that the feature exists) says it looks like Tri-X Pan, so it should be good.
