Bombardier Aerospace Strengthens Customer Focus at
Flexjet Europe - New Senior Management Appointment

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--SEPTEMBER 9, 2002 - 16:26 EDT
Bombardier Aerospace today announced the
appointment of Daniel Maiden as the new managing director,
Bombardier Flexjet(R) Europe Ltd. Responsible for building the
growth of its Jet Membership programme, Mr. Maiden will
specifically focus on how Bombardier Flexjet can further develop
more customer-driven business jet travel solutions across Europe.

The appointment is effective immediately as Mr. Maiden takes over
from James Hoblyn who returns to Bombardier Aerospace in Canada,
where he joins Bombardier Regional Aircraft as vice-president,
marketing, sales operations and asset management. Based at the
headquarters of Bombardier Flexjet Europe in London, Mr. Maiden
reports directly to Clifford Dickman, president, Bombardier
Flexjet.

"I am confident that Mr. Maiden will sustain Bombardier Flexjet's
development and growth in Europe. Having been with Bombardier
Flexjet for almost three years in both a sales and management
role, he has a strong understanding of the evolving needs of our
customers throughout Europe" stated Mr. Dickman. "Mr. Maiden was
instrumental in the development and launch of the new Jet
Membership programme earlier this year, which has generated more
than 20 per cent year-on-year increase in flying hours," said Mr.
Dickman.

Born and raised in England, Mr. Maiden's experience in the
aviation industry spans over 11 years. With an MBA from Henley
Management College, he joined Bombardier Flexjet Europe in 1999
and became commercial director in 2001 with specific
responsibility for establishing both a network of operating
partners and growing the business throughout Europe. In line with
its customer-driven business strategy, Mr. Maiden will focus on
the further development of Bombardier Flexjet's Jet Membership and
Charter offerings while building closer working relationships with
its operating partners, Europe's leading charter providers.

Unlike European fractional ownership models currently available,
Jet Membership customers purchase hours of flying time instead of
purchasing a physical share of the aircraft. They enjoy all the
benefits of business aviation, but pay only for the time they are
on board the aircraft at an all inclusive, fixed hourly rate.

Bombardier Flexjet's Jet Membership and Charter programmes offer
member customers around the clock, short notice access to business
jet travel within Europe, using the region's largest fleet of more
than 50 business aircraft, including the Bombardier Learjet(R)
31A, Learjet 45, Learjet 60, Challenger(R) 604 and Global
Express(R).
