The Pats started to win when Bledsoe went down - I'm sorry to have to say that because I like Bledsoe. Freeman would have left regardless of who we brought in. He didn't want to take a pay cut and that was that. It was an ego thing for him. Now as far as who we brought in we really wont know until the end of the year. He may not prove to be the answer but neither was Freeman. I like the gamble on a talent level and if it doesn't work out its a cheap gamble for a money and draft pick standpoint. If he becomes a cancer he will be gone before the end of the season. That means the worst thing that happens is we pay one 4th round pick and he's either injured or gets cut. The upside potential is that Green Bay is a fresh start and we get a great athlete that costs us a 4th and a 2nd round pick.

Sounds like a good gamble to me
