I have to concur with your evaluation of South Africa. Even when Mandela goes and somebody else is elected they do not what to get back to the days of the Sanctions. No matter who is in power they will not want to touch the industries and businesses that keep the country going. South Africans only have to look outside their borders to see first hand what happens when politicians play with the economies of the country.
South Africa is also not like many of the African countries. It is almost european in its outlook and has a modern and growing economy (for the most part).
There are many African countries that I would have some concern about however South Africa is not one of them.
My two cents worth!
Cheers !!!! Peter
