11:49 ET Government reportedly plans to raise alert level alert to Orange : Hearing that the U.S. government will hold a press conference later today raising level of alert to Orange from Yellow based on intelligence received over the past 24 hours. The Homeland Security Advisory System alert levels are Red (severe threat), Orange (high), Yellow (elevated), Blue (guarded), Green (low).
