Cut my teeth in the fight for civil libs. Was a card carrying member of the ACLU for some time. I take the Dershowitz view of civil liberties in wartime. I dont like Ashcroft much either. He hasnt been effective and hasnt explained himself well. Yes and some of what he has done is not necessary. Gottfried said hes more dangerous than saddam. I gather you believe that too. mike
