Once again for all the morons: Florida's "three strikes, you're out" is for drug traffickers, not users.

On May 21, 1999, Governor Bush signed the "Three Strikes and You're Out!" crime bill into law. This landmark law provides minimum mandatory prison sentences for three-time convicted violent felons, drug traffickers, and persons convicted of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer or a person aged 65 or older. By providing certainty of punishment for these criminals, Florida now has one of the toughest sentencing laws in the nation.
