HW alone will not do it and SW alone will not do it. It is a combination of the two that could be used to offer better system security, better protection against virus, better protection against pirating of digital content. This is not all about stopping pirates of Music, Movies, or SW Apps. Is also about protecting online buying and selling, online communications (e-mail), and just plain surfing. The problem is the privacy rights activists will complain even though is can offer better privacy, while at the same time the music thiefs will complain because they can't get their unlimited free music. I'll leave the "exactly" part of the question to someone who can explain the various copy protections schemes much better than I. Nitt
