Lindy, not really. It's still between freedom and collectivism which remains rampant. Islam is just another form of 'We, The Tribe". But that'll go the way of the Dodo.

Ted Kaczynski understood the real fight. They threw him in jail, so he has been decommissioned. Few of The Free Street understand that they are the reactionary Luddites in that battle which is well underway. Few realize they are already on the losing side. Maybe we all will be losers, though I think of It more as a new thing being created and sent on It's way like a grown up adolescent, to make their own life. Our offspring are not really us, though they have a strong resemblance. We just provide some of the feedstock.

The Arab Street is from a bygone era, more reminscent of the opening scene of 2001, A Space Odyssey. They've had their day. Boxcutters on the Starship are incongruous. That's like having chimps on the flight deck.

I'm with It! We are colonizing the planet. Hahaahah!!! We will rule the world and there's NOTHING anyone can do about it.

Osama's a side show. A medievil red herring. There is also the battle for the UN, in case another sidetracking is needed, to divert attention from the really big thing.
