Sold OUT of my energy picks today on the rally (btw, my first day off in a long time, played hookey) for a very nice profit. LT, I have hopes for energy (sometime in winter) but now I have hopes for
nothing!
A nasty shooting star candle on the DOW, close to a gravestone doji and possible 2/3 of modified evening star pattern, also to lesser extent SPX, OEX, NDX, not perfect and not confirmed, but it is smack dab at resistance. Takes a few days to work sometimes, and I certainly don't put much stock in single sticks or even patterns, but under the market circumstances, I'm NOT going to fade THIS candlestick. Only time this candle has been on the DOW in the last year was May 31 and that marked the last stop [Edit, before] the road down from DOW 10K:

Of course this is just my opinion and I could be wrong.
Not even gold has an allure for me here, people that know me think I am running a fever. All I know is, it isn't yellow fever, not yet.
At least I'll be on vacation with very high cash levels, see you all later...
