John,... Wouldn't this be true?.... say you mix a gallon of fuel that is 20 PPM sulfer with a gallon of fuel that is 0 PPM sulfer (GTL fuels are zero sulfer), then the final product will have a sulfer content of 10 PPM? I am not saying I know what the economics are ... but it sure makes sense to me that they are investing a lot of money in GTL technology for a good reason... and this "may" be "part" of that reason... diluting high-sulfer fuels down to make lower sulfer fuels ...to be run in almost any engine ...with lower emissions.

Also,... Europe seems to be ramping up for more diesel engines and it would not surprise me that the big Auto Companies are planning something similar for the U.S. ...if they can get the snappy sporty engine response and feel that they now have with regular gas engines...diesel engines typically have a longer life and there are some who are claiming that the new diesel engines with the proper exhaust treatments are just as clean.

I would like to know if OE is working on any products for diesel engines with any companies.

Dennis
