Just a thought, but would everyone agree that the lack of a sustained recovery in MIR at this point is likely due to concerns over whether the asset sales are cutting too deep into profitable businesses?

AEP just announce 16 plant closures in Texas. Energy surplus blamed. West Coast has a glut of energy.

The Thief-In-Chief's sidekick Oil Slick Dick lied to us in 2001 in technicolor about the supposed "energy shortage". It was just a lie. Mirant is just getting sent to the woodshed by the financiers because they were willing participants in a fraud. Most rats have abandoned this sinking ship. Your loyalty is admirable, but not the smartest move you've ever made. <g>

If you'd have followed my wise counsel in mid-March (when MIR was trading about 400% higher than it is today) you'd be a far richer man today. Are you listening, Bob? Get out.
