I don't know why Saddam moving into SA is called a "worst-case scenario". The House of ibn Saud would scurry like the chickens they are, and be disgraced, the Saudis would be so terrified they would forget to hate us for at least ten minutes, and we would have an unmistakable casus belli. We should send Saddam an invitation ;-)

I mean, it's not like Saddam's army would have a serious chance of standing up against us if he moved into SA, nor is he likely to prevail against our troops in SA.

Anybody know who this guy Viorst is?
