Thanks Graham, I'm sure you know about this thread, Subject 10022 I have looked at this a few times, but never found a candidate that I thought workable, I also looked closely at some Ivaco Preferred(I own some) but found that it does not have the volume to work. I read about an investor who made over a million$ trading preferred on NYSE doing a variation of stripping, that is get a preferred that will not fluctuate much (because of div) and try and make 1/4 point on each trade. Boring work but over a period of time can be very profitable.

I own a company (I wont mention the name) where I trade the A and B shares, I like the company and will continue to hold it, however over a period of time the A's and B's drift relative to each other, when it gets above or below the normal range I will move from the A-B and vice versus, usually about 1 trade per month where I can make $300-500, I won't get rich but its fun, doesn't cost me anything and I like it.
