You couldn't have summarized it better. When I made that statement, that's exactly what I was thinking. We're likely to see weak growth for awhile in the economy, with sideways activity in the stock market, until the economic fundamentals catch up with the stock market and start to put upward pressure on it. So my statement still stands as valid. Over the long term the weak growth will move the market upwards. Growth is the key.
