Dan, I place limit orders always. I don't give them an opportunity to rip me off! Remember, I said it happens about half the time. Meaning; Half the time it doesn't happen. I always place buy orders at the bid and sell orders at the ask. I rarely speak to them. Their only good for stock trades. Once when the line was busy, I called via the phone and spoke to a real sweet bimbo receptionist, who said my order was executed. ( Feminists don't attack me here. I married a feminist!). I have Quotrek so I get my quotes in real time. You get real time quotes from JB. Get their software program for windows. I got it before they put up their internet site. I also use Lombard and National Discount Brokers. I like them too. But Lombard gives better executions since they try to match bids and asks. ( They split it in between. )
